Week 30 Bumpdate

size of the baby: Cucumber – 15.2-16.7 inches (3lbs 4oz as of Monday)

total weight gain: Dr. scale still says 16 pounds

gender: Girl – Little Miss Brooke Nicole Clarke!

maternity clothes: I need to go shopping again this week and buy a few more tops. I am quickly running out of tops that fit! Yikes!

movement: Little Miss has been sleeping a little more this week it seems, until I lay down to go to sleep that is – she was a ball of energy last night when I was ready to go bed.

sleep: I have been sleeping hard this week, probably because I have been going to bed so late. I haven’t really been getting up in the middle of the night as much either. Again, I think that is due to our busy schedule this week and lack of sleep overall.

nursery: I love being in her room now. We still have a lot to hang on walls and stuff to find a place for, but I just love it. Pink has always been my favorite and I love that a whole room is decorated in pink again.

craving: I don’t really have any strong cravings this week at all. I had doughnuts a lot last week so that was satisfied.

symptoms: We had to go to the doctor unexpectedly Monday morning which was super scary at the time, but turned out to be completely fine. We got to see Brooke in 4D which was amazing and the sonogram was really long since they were checking everything out, so we loved getting to look at her. I keep staring at the picture they gave us of her trying to decide who she looks more like! I can’t wait to hold her even more now!

kevin is: still feeling a little more on the scared side but was super calm when everything happened Monday. He is going to be a champ when it comes time for birth I think as far as keeping me calm. I was super emotional and he was so chill (so glad i have him on my team).

looking forward to: our second baby shower this weekend and seeing our parents again! I love when they come in town and we get to spend time together. Plus, doing baby stuff is always fun.

best moments: This week has been super busy for us. The best moments had to be going home for the baby shower and seeing our family. I loved getting to have dinner with both sides of our family after our baby shower. It was just so nice to be home for the weekend. & our parents/grandparents got us the Nuna Pipa Carseat I have been wanting and this adorable navy playard. Not to mention, we came home with a truck full of clothes and goodies for Brooke from all of our family and friends.
