June 2015 Stitch Fix Review

Its only been a few weeks since my May Stitch Fix and now I have my June 2015 Stitch Fix Box. Most of you are probably familiar with Stitch Fix. If you aren’t, I will let you in on an awesome company. Basically, Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. You start by going to the Stitch Fix website, filling out a style profile and then deciding on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you would like to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope.

Here we go, check out what was in my fifth box and let me know your thoughts:

I don’t tend to wear a lot of different jewelry. I pretty much wear the same, classic pieces and occasionally change out my earrings, so I won’t be keeping the cuff. However, if I was a big jewelry person, I would really consider this piece. I love the colors and it looks really nice on my wrist. It is a nice statement piece.

image3Alannah Maxi Skirt

This skirt is super soft and comfy. I honestly have never been a huge skirt fan, but I do have one maxi skirt and it happens to be black and white stripe as well, so this skirt wasn’t even in the running.

image2Minal Sleeveless V-Neck Blouse

The V-Neck Blouse was by far my favorite piece. It fits me really, really well and I love the detail it has on the front. It is a simple solid shirt but it has a few unique touches that make it stand out. The color is also very vibrant and one of my favorites to wear.

image1Cabrillo Tie Neck Blouse

I really liked the style of this shirt. I don’t have anything like it my closet with a tie in front and I think it looks pretty professional. I am not a huge fan of the color purple on a top but besides that I really liked this top.

image4Rachel Maxi Dress

This dress is cute in theory, but the fit was just not right for my body type. It really didn’t do much for my figure at all. Plus, it was lined which made it pretty heavy. For Texas weather, I would be sweating up a storm in it, so it is a “no go”.

Overall, I liked my fifth experience with Stitch Fix because of the tops, however, I still would have liked to see a cuter dress option for summer. I was pretty disappointed I got sent a skirt and jewelry (I asked for tops and dresses only again). I have not lost faith in Stitch Fix yet though, they continue to send me unique pieces that always get comments when I am around town. It bums me out when they miss the mark! I do love that maxi on you though so it’s sad it didn’t fit right!

I love that v-neck blouse! And let me just say, you do NOT look like you just had a baby!

The purple shirt is the best! I have considered trying Stitch Fix and specifically asking for “nursing friendly” clothes, but I’m afraid I’ll end up with a bunch of stuff that doesn’t work or is wayyyy too expensive!
