August 2015 Stitch Fix

Its that time again! My July 2015 Stitch Fix box was amazing, but I told myself I had to wait a full month this time until my August 2015 Stitch Fix box. Most of you are probably familiar with Stitch Fix. If you aren’t, I will let you in on an awesome company. Basically, Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. You start by going to the Stitch Fix website, filling out a style profile and then deciding on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting and the price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you would like to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope.

Here we go, check out what was in my eighth box and let me know what you think I should keep. I will warn you, this box was a goodie:

With a husband who was a baseball player, I love a good baseball style top. Plus, I really like how soft the sleeves are on this top, however I wish the whole top was this soft fabric. I don’t really like the texture of the middle part. Overall though, this top fit pretty good and I liked the style a lot.

I love this top! I really like the color navy, so that is a win and I love how the back of this top looks. My only hang up is the way it falls in the front, but I still like it a lot. It would be perfect with white jeans, but I don’t have any (I need to get on the bandwagon I know).

Barcelona DressBarcelona Dress

Love this dress, so sad it is huge on me! I got this dress in a small, but I really need an extra small. I thought about keeping it and having it altered, but am still on the fence about it. I love the detail of the top though and it is flowy. Perfection.

I really liked this top as well. I liked the lace look and the texture of this top is nice. I paired it with leggings and it looked pretty good as well. On the fence about this one as well though, because I can’t tell if it makes me look to boxy.

Ben Striped Airy Knit TopBen Striped Airy Knit Top

I wasn’t a huge fan of this top when I pulled it out of the box, but I liked the colors when I tried on. I wish it was slightly longer to pair with leggings. I might keep it though.

Overall, I liked my 8th box, but it wasn’t my best. I feel like all I got was blue and stripes in this box. I feel like my stylist could have done a better job with variety. I mean every single shirt had stripes of some kind. It was a little over the top. Don’t get me wrong, I love stripes and blue but it was just a lot of it.

I really love the Ben Striped Airy Knit Top on you. I keep debating signing up for a Stitch box. Maybe this month will be the month.

I think everything is cute! That dress is adorable, too bad it was too big. I’ve been wanting to try Stitch Fix but haven’t got around to it (for six months…) maybe I’ll have to do that today!
