Today, I want to share with you about a new book by my friend Danise Jurado is releasing today called Fulfilled. Over the past ten years, little by little, God has helped her pour her out onto the pages of the book. Throughout the book, she shares her own personal stories of freedom, restoration, hope and learning to live the full, free life that God promises. Additionally, she provides practical steps that have been proven to be powerful tools in her life and in helping others for nearly fifteen years in ministry as a pastoral counselor. God can turn our most painful moments of betrayal and disappointment into restoration, healing and joy. She is donating 50% of the proceeds of this book The Dream Center. The Dream Center is an organization that reaches over 85,000 people every month through both residential and outreach ministries; helping people overcome things like addiction, abuse, homelessness and poverty. They provide housing, food, clothing, furniture, education, job placement training and most importantly the hope and love of Christ. The mission of The Dream Center is to find a need and fill it, find a hurt and heal it.
Here is a paragraph from the 1st chapter that I love:
“For the first twenty-one years of my life, I was completely unaware of how spiritually empty I was. I didn’t know how genuinely satisfied my should could be until I met Him. God helped me discover everything I never knew I needed, beginning with forgiveness.”
