I received the chance to watch a special preview of the NEW series GRANDFATHERED, which starts Tuesday 8/7c on FOX! I had previously seen the trailer for the show and the plot seemed really interesting and funny to me, so I was excited to view the first episode early. Let me just say, that the first episode doe not disappoint. You can check out the GRANDFATHERED trailer on Youtube if you haven’t seen it already. It is super cute and I think the character development is really good and shines through the trailer.  

GRANDFATHERED is a comedy about a popular bachelor, Jimmy, who finds out he is not only a father, but also a grandfather. Jimmy, played by John Stamos, is a successful restaurant owner and man on-the-town whose life gets turned upside down when his adult son Gerald shows up at his restaurant one day and informs him about his identity. Jimmy has no clue what being a father or grandfather means, but he decides to give it a shot. You quickly learn that Gerald is seeking his suave father’s advice about how to win over his baby’s mama. Can Jimmy teach Gerald his ways to win over Vanessa? Also, will Jimmy and Sara, Gerald’s mom, rekindle their love after all this time?

I am a sucker for love within a series, so I am interested to see if either of these relationships turn into love or if they learn to be just one big family. Either way, it is going to be a funny ride. I am already hooked on the series and can’t wait until episode two. GRANDFATHERED seems like it is going to be a fun, unconventional, heartfelt comedy. Don’t miss the series premiere of GRANDFATHERED starting Tuesday 8/7c on FOX!
