Aside from home cooked seafood, the best way to eat seafood is ENDLESS. Yep, thats right. I am talking about Red Lobster’s Endless Shrimp. Seafood has always been a big part of my diet, because my dad is a fisherman and loves to cook/eat seafood, thus I had it a lot growing up. So, in true family fashion, when my parents came in town last weekend, we went to Red Lobster.
Red Lobster is the world’s largest seafood restaurant company, headquartered in Orlando, Fla., with over 700 restaurants in the United States and Canada. Red Lobster is focused on delivering freshly prepared seafood at reasonable prices – served in a lively, contemporary seaside atmosphere. The restaurant was lively, but family friendly which was perfect for having our 6 month old, Brooke, with us.
Our main reason for going to Red Lobster was their Endless Shrimp that is going on now and for a limited time! This year, guests can choose two out of five shrimp preparations for their initial order, including NEW! Pineapple Habanero Coconut Bites, featuring a balance of sweet and spicy flavors, and guest favorite Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp. After your initial order, you can order whatever combination of shrimp you want. Red Lobster also introduced two new beer-based cocktails that pair perfectly with Endless Shrimp dishes – the Seaside Shandy and Angry Lobster.
With the Endless Shrimp, you can choose between NEW! Pineapple Habanero Coconut Bites, Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp, Hand-Breaded Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, or Shrimp Linguini Alfredo. We had the Hand-Breaded Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo and Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp. I was in a pasta mood, so the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo with tender shrimp in a garlic Parmesan cream sauce on a bed of linguini was my favorite, then the Hand-breaded shrimp fried to a golden brown
We tried the bold and spicy Angry Lobster which features Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider, tropical fruit juices and a kick of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. It is served in a beer can-shaped commemorative glass with the Red Lobster logo that you can take home with you.
