As a new mom, I constantly find myself immersed in Google searches, parenting message boards, and our pediatricians website. It actually began the moment I found out I was pregnant. I went into research mode. I wanted to know what I could eat, what I couldn’t eat, what exercises were safe, what a birth plan was, and the list goes on.
For every mom that is shaking her head right now, I want to introduce you to Flipboard. Actually, it is amazing for non-moms, guys, and really anyone in your life! I am primarily using Flipboard for parenting reasons, but Flipboard is meant for you to be able to discover, share and collect the stories and articles you care about. It is the one place for all of your interests. There are more than 25 million Flipboard Magazines on just about any topic you can imagine. 
Interested? Let me break it down for you. All you do is go to Flipboard.com, or download the Flipboard app and create an account. Follow a minimum of 7 automated topics that you find interesting by clicking on them; the more categories you click, the more customized your content feed will become.
From your content feed, you can add content to “magazines” you create of topics you are interested in. For example, I created a “Baby’s First Year” magazine. I add topics ranging from birth, to breastfeeding, to sleep routines.
Flipboard Magazines gives me one place to keep all of my parenting content, social media content, shopping trends and branding topics. Having a Baby’s First Year magazine, also let me share my perspective on the first year with Brooke and allows me to beautifully package all of my favorite baby articles.
Flipboard is also a great way for my community to read about topics I’m passionate about but also give my content a new audience.
