9 months

Ahhh!! We have a 9 month old. Someone pinch me. Where on earth has the time gone? I think this month we realized that Brooke is no longer a little baby. She is growing and learning a lot of new things. This month she got to meet her new baby cousin Tyler and be there when he was born. You really forget how little babies are when they are born. She also had her First Christmas and New Years, while battling a double ear infection. We got to see Kevin’s family the weekend Tyler was born and everyone put a lot of loving on Brooke. Brooke got to see everyone again pretty quick, because we went back to Katy for Christmas. Brooke loved Christmas and opening gifts so much more than we thought she would. She really got into putting the bows in her mouth and playing with her presents. We loved seeing her reactions, it was just so cute.

After Christmas, my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins came down for a night and we went downtown to the Riverwalk to see the lights and have dinner. Brooke loved playing with everyone and got super great gifts from them for Christmas. My parents came down for New Years and we did Christmas with them too. It was such a fun few days. I love seeing my parents play with Brooke. Her top two teeth have also started to come in this month and she learned how to drink out of straw sippy cup! She is such a happy baby and just loves smiling. It was a very busy and eventful month for Brooke!
