There are a lot of game day parties going on right now and great football being played. With game day parties, come different hosting tasks and responsibilities. These can be extremely overwhelming if you don’t normally host parties at your house. So, here are 5 Tips for Hosting A Stress Free Game Day:
Clean During The Week
I’m assuming you would like to present a clean house to your guests and that task alone can be overwhelming. I have found that if you clean a little bit each night during the week, then you can have the whole weekend to focus on other things and not be rushed to get the whole house ready in one day.
Invite Your Guests
Be sure to invite your guests early in the week as well, because they may be already thinking about planning their own watch party or making plans with other people. Early invites ensure that you have the best turnout and really get to enjoy the day with friends you would like at your house. If you wait until Friday to start inviting people, everyone will most likely already have plans.
Plan Your Menu
Menu planning can be as simple or complex as you would like, however, I highly recommend a few appetizers and pizza. DIGIORNO® Rising Crust Pizza is the perfect solution, because DIGIORNO® pizza is so quick and easy to prepare, you can spend less time in the kitchen, and more time enjoying the game with friends and family. Intentionally crafted by the bakery experts at DIGIORNO®, each pizza bakes up hot and fresh in your own oven so you can enjoy the moments that matter with the people who matter. With dough that rises to crust perfection, toppings you can’t get enough of and a mouthwatering aroma you’ll crave, DIGIORNO® pizza comes out of your oven ready to serve in about 20 minutes and it is always a big hit with our guests! I love preparing DIGIORNO® Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza, we also serve at least 2 or 3 other varieties to make sure everyone has their favorite. Our guests love DIGIORNO® and it is an easy clean up as well.
Keep It Simple
Like I mentioned above, menus can get extremely complex, but #maketherightcall and serve hot and fresh-baked DIGIORNO® to your guests. It is simple and easy. Let that be your theme of the week “simple and easy”. Don’t overdo the little details, everyone will have a great time watching the game and just hanging out. Decor is always pretty, but don’t let it become a huge priority. Less is more.
Use Your DVR
Don’t be those people. Record the game. Record the show after the game. Make sure you are able to rewind and go back when necessary during the game. Also, this will allow you to wait until most of your guests arrive to start the game.
