I am loving easy side dishes right now that can be paired with just about anything, but are simple enough for the picky eater in my house. I wanted to really spice up our normal rice side dish and add a little something extra to it and my cheesy bacon parmesan rice dish was born! I mean, you can’t really go wrong with cheese plus rice plus bacon. I mean bacon is just so extremely good. I got all of my supplies from my local HEB right down the road.
I was sure to grab my favorite Riceland Boil-in-Bag rice for this recipe. I love it because it just takes ten minutes of boiling in water and gives you perfectly cooked rice every time. You fill a large pot with water, submerge the bag, bring it to a boil, and set your timer for 10 minutes. It doesn’t leave you guessing if your rice is done; it is perfect after your timer goes off. I also love Riceland brand because it is grown by American family farmers and has great health benefits. I love supporting local businesses and farmers like this, especially when they have a great product. Did I mention that Riceland Boil-in-Bag is gluten free, sodium free, cholesterol free and doesn’t have any MSG? Its great! Plus, their white rice is also fat-free.

I will definitely be trying this recipe! Most of the meals I make tend to have either a rice or pasta side because my toddler likes his carbs and they are easy to make!
