Go Grippers Car Inspired Snack Time

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kids II. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last week, I posted about how much fun Brooke was having with all of her new Oball Go Grippers toys from Kids II. Their Go Grippers Collection enables children to use their imaginations during playtime in such creative ways. I have loved seeing how much Brooke is learning and growing at this stage in her life.  It seems like everyday is a new adventure in her eyes. Being her mom and watching her is just an incredible joy. All of this creative play really inspired me this week to create a Go Grippers Snack Time for her as well.

It is very easy to make and only requires three items, a banana, blueberries, and toothpicks. The first step is to cut the ends off of the banana. Then, I used two tooth picks to through the banana to attach the wheels (or blueberries). It was such a fun little project to make a car out of her snack. She thought it was so funny was intrigued by the creation. You can also make these fun cars with other snacks like carrots and cucumbers, bananas and strawberries, oranges and blueberries or even carrots and mini tomatoes. The possibilities are endless and so is the fun!

img_9513You should, of course, supervise your child while they are eating the snack due to the toothpicks. I helped show Brooke how to take the blueberries off of the toothpick, then I removed the toothpicks and let her eat the banana. She immediately wanted another one once she was done with the first car. Before I knew it, she had eaten all three and was off to play again. There is just so many hours of fun to be had with these toys.

img_9501Last week, Brooke was very interested in the Oball Go Grippers car carrier™, dump truck and loader. Now, this week, she has been a lot more interested in the Bounce ‘N Zoom Speedway™. She is loving figuring out the speedway and all that it entails. She even liked helping us put it together. She kept bring us all the pieces and was watching intently. Once we were done putting it together, Kevin helped her figure out how to slide cars down and she loved copying him. She also loved when he showed her how it picks cars up and drops them on the bouncer. She just giggled and giggled.

img_9503Giggling was the theme of the night. She just giggled when the car zoomed down the speedway and loves when we help her get it going. She is still getting use to how it all works, and is playing with it in her own creative way. It is so neat to watch her explore. She loves hitting the Oball Go Grippers Race Cars™ on the side of the track as well as pulling the red piece up and down.
