Lets talk Monday Must Haves! In reality, these are a few of favorite things any day of the week, but especially on a Monday morning. I like to start Mondays with a strong cup of coffee and refresh for the week!
My coffee of choice is an Iced Carmel Macchiato. I prefer to get a Venti from Starbucks, but that can get expensive really quick, so I also buy the Starbucks Iced Carmel Macchiatos from the grocery store to have most mornings. I save the Venti’s for special occasions or rough mornings when I need a treat. If its pretty cold out, I might have a normal cup of coffee with Carmel Macchiato creamer.
The next thing on my must have list for Monday is my planner. I absolutely LOVE my simplified planner and like to start out each day by spending some time organizing my day. On Mondays, I like to look at the week as a whole and make sure I am prepared for any major events or deadlines.
I have a thing for comfy t-shirts and this is one of my favorites. I also enjoy a good sweatshirt or even a basic tee and cozy cardigan. Mondays are perfect for relaxing clothes.
Speaking of relaxing clothes, leggings are much needed. My favorite brand of leggings is Zella because they are so extremely comfortable and durable. I love that you can really dress them up or down depending on your mood.
To top of the comfy Monday look, I must have a great pair of sneakers. Right now, like a lot of people, I love these Nike ones that just slip on. I love the ease and simplicity of being able to slip my foot in as I am running out the door.
While I typically don’t need dry shampoo yet on Monday, it easily makes my must have list. Ever since I had Brooke, I don’t have the time or energy to wash my hair every night, plus, its not suppose to be good on your hair anyways. So, I use my favorite dry shampoo from Living Proof when my hair needs a refresh. This is my favorite dry shampoo by far because it smells good, works fast and doesn’t leave a residue behind.
Of course, one of my favorite items is my mom bag. I have mentioned a ton of times that I am a handbag girl. I love a nice black leather handbag and this Tory Burch tote is on repeat right now. I love that I can throw my kids stuff in it and keep all of my things organized as well. It is perfection.
I go back and forth with nail polish. At some points in my life, I like my nails clean with no polish and others, I have to constantly have polish on them. Right now, I am in a polish phase and light pink is my color of choice. We will see how long it lasts!
My curling wand makes the list because I don’t really like to leave the house without either my make up done or my hair done. As long as one of those two are done, I feel great running errands around town. Plus, I have always really enjoyed doing my hair. It takes a really long time because my hair is super thick and curly, but I love it.
Also, love my Kendra studs. Well, I love all my Kendra earrings, but the studs make my must have list because they are light and easy. My tend to wear my other Kendra’s when I am dressing up, but my studs are my go to for a normal, casual day.
