34 Week Bumpdate
size of the baby: Butternut Squash – about 18+ inches, and probably over 5+ pounds!
total weight gain: about 21 pounds now.
gender: Little Man
clothes: Leggings and comfy shorts all the way!
movement: He is constantly moving all around, especially after I drink lemonade or limeade.
sleep: I have been sleeping a little better this week, but am just pretty uncomfortable laying down.
missing: normal life of running errands, chasing Brooke around and not being so pregnant.
craving: mexican food and eating out.
symptoms/update: Since I am past 34 weeks now, my doctor let me get off of the medicine I have been taking for the past two weeks so that was good news. She did order 1-2 more shots, because she thinks they are really helping me not progress as fast. I wasn’t super thrilled about more shots, but hopefully I had my last one yesterday. Besides that, I am just extremely sore from his head being so low and having normal pregnancy discomfort and pressure (and contractions).
kevin is: really glad that we are past 34 weeks and we are both hoping we can avoid the NICU this time!
looking forward to: this baby boy continuing to grow and his arrival! I have to admit that while I want him to finish growing as much as possible, I am super ready for him to be here as well.
best moments: it has been a pretty uneventful week again. We did have a fun valentines night playing with Brooke and a good time on the way to our doctor appointment Wednesday.
