End Of Summer Bucket List

We are at the end of August, which means school is back in session and summer is coming to a close. However, we still technically have until September 22nd until the first day of fall and let me tell you, here in Texas, I’m sure it will still feel like summer way past that day. Now that we have weekends back again and Kevin gets off of work a little earlier, we can really celebrate the end of summer and check a few things off our end of summer bucket list. Here a few fun things on our list and a few that I think just might be fun:

Lake Night

We will be taking advantage of having a lake night every chance we get! We love hanging out at Kevin’s parents lake house and Brooke is addicted to the boat and tube. She gets so excited. It is just really relaxing to go for a ride on the jet ski’s or even just sit on the back porch and have some JaM Cabernet. Kevin and I both grew up on the lake a lot so it is very nice to be back home.

Backyard BBQ

We also enjoy backyard BBQs at our parents house. Sitting on my parents back porch is one of our favorite things to do. Grab the bbq and the Butter! You can end the game with a fun treat like ice cream on the back porch. This could be a fantastic back to school tradition as well!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Date night time! Some of our favorite dates are going to sporting events so hit up your local teams games. We love Astros games, but if you don’t have a professional team, think high school even. Its all about enjoying a good game and having fun. At one of our stadiums in town, you can sit on a hill and bring your own Butter! (aka Butter Chardonnay that is!)

Summer, SLOW DOWN! We still have lots to do in this sun season! The good news, there is still planting of time to soak in the last day os summer. And the best news? You can grab your favorite JaM wine for under $20 and in a store right near you.
