Dear Little Kevin,
Oh my Boo, this year went by way too fast. It is so hard to believe that you have almost been in our little family for two years now. From day one, you fit right in and filled a place in our heart we never knew existed with your boyish grin. In the past year, we have watched you learn and grow so much. You have a mind of your own and your vocabulary has expanded immensely. You are obsessed with throwing balls and and you love to play! You constantly make your sister, dad and I laugh. You love being the center of attention and we cannot give you enough love each day.
You are also growing into such a sweet brother. You and Brooke have such a special bond and I hope it continues to grow throughout your whole life. You are best friends. You have each others back. You love each other like crazy. You both love playing chase together, hide and seek and wrestling.
You are loving, cuddly and sweet yet mischievous and can have a temper. You are constantly on the move and all over the place. You keep us on our toes. You love music, to watch basketball and sharks. You love playing outside and doing puzzles. You could watch Boz all day long. You are a ball of energy and your kissable cheeks are irresistible. You are so incredibly fun.
I’ll never forget your infectious smile and how cuddly you are. Daddy and I love sneaking in your room at night to give you more kisses. You even sleep in a big boy bed now and attempt to go to the bathroom on the potty like your sister. You want to be just like your daddy and grandfathers and love following them around to watch what they do – especially if they are fixing something or working on a project.
I know we are heading into the “terrible twos” and that you will start to press your boundaries even more. I just pray for grace and lots of patience for us this year. I know it will be trying at times, but I cannot wait! Every day with you is such a precious gift. You are truly loved and treasured my little boy. Happy 2nd Birthday!!
