Dear Brooke,
Sweet sweet girl, this year was a doozy and I cannot believe you are already 5 years old. You have been such an amazing helper this year throughout everything going on and you continue to awe me with how intelligent you are. You are so incredibly smart. You constantly ask questions, are incredibly kind, and have such a sweet heart. Your brother is your best friend ever and you love your family like crazy. You can’t get enough of painting your nails, shopping, trips to Target and eating at Whataburger or Chickfila. You are my little mini me.
You love to learn and go to school. You can do puzzles quickly without our help, know all your letters and numbers, can write all your letters and numbers, can write your first and last name, and know about ten sight words. You love reading and playing pretend. You are so excited to go to Kindergarten next year and are just growing up so fast.
Every day I feel like your kindness grows. You think of others, love everyone so much and are just so sweet. You are so curious about the world and want to know how everything works. You love to sing worship songs and watch family movies. You love playing outside, riding your bike, and have an opinion about your outfits big time. You are shoe girl, which I don’t totally understand since I’m a handbag girl, but you rock it with your pink sparkly heels.
I’ll never forget the laughter that fills our house from you and your brothers giggles, your love of shopping, all things girly, bible class and eating out. You pray with your brother every night, then pray for all your family and friends. Your heart is so lovable. Playing with your Daddy is one of your favorite things and you love girl time with mommy. You and your brother are best friends and partners in crime. You have so much fun together and you are such a good big sister.
We are heading into 5 and I cannot believe you will be going into Kindergarten. I just want to soak in every moment of having you home with me this summer. I know there will be so many changes this year and I just want to embrace them all and cherish every second. Every day with you is such a gift. You are truly loved and treasured sweet girl.
