Thank you to all free clear for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try all free clear!
1. Burp Rags
Yep, burp rags in every room. They are super handy for spit ups or anything else that needs to be wiped up. I especially love the ones from Witts End Design. I have 6 of them and they have already gotten so much use!
2. Diapers and Wipes
This one is pretty obvious. We have diapers and wipes upstairs and downstairs, so that wherever we are in the house, we are close to diapers/wipes. There are lots of diaper changes that happen in a day so these are in constant use. We are using the pampers sensitive diapers and wipes because our sweet girl has been fighting a diaper rash since she was born. It is clearing up a lot thanks to these sensitive products and letting her be naked almost all day the other day.
3. Milk
Milk, milk, milk. Its everywhere. People don’t tell you that. I know some women don’t have enough, and some have a good amount, but lets just say we are very blessed in this house. As much as I didn’t like milk before, I don’t like it even more now. Sigh. At least little miss is happy and healthy because of it, so that is worth every second of it!
4. Cute little clothes
I can’t get enough of cute little baby clothes. I especially love all of Brooke’s preemie onesies. They are so cute and small. I can’t wait for her to fit into some of her 0-3 month outfits as well. It is just so fun to dress her up. Also, “mom tip” – make sure to wash their socks in a lingerie bag so that they don’t get lost in the rest of laundry.
5. Swaddles
Swaddles are on my list of most used items in the first few weeks of life. I love the Aden and Anais ones because they are super light and soft. We have these upstairs, downstairs and in her diaper bag. They are seriously perfect! When she is cold, we just use it as a normal blanket and when she is fussy, we swaddle her in it and it keeps her cozy.
6. More Laundry
I have never really understood when people told me our laundry would double, but now I totally understand. I only do about 2 more loads a week, but it feels like so much more for just one person! Also, we are trying all free clear detergent, because it is the #1 recommended detergent brand by Dermatologists, Allergists, and Pediatricians for sensitive skin. It is tough on stains, yet gentle on skin with only 9 ingredients. With all free clear, we have no worries about her sensitive skin.
7. Snuggles
This is the best part! I love spending all day snuggled up to our baby girl. While babies bring a ton of responsibility and little sleep, they also bring so much love! They want you to hold them a lot, which is perfectly fine by me because I could stare at her forever.
8. Joy
& of course, a baby brings a ton of joy. I can’t explain how much my heart has grown these past few weeks. It just overflows with love her and a joy I haven’t known before.

Neisa's Nook
I totally agree! I had no idea how many burp clothes I could go through in just a day! I got a lot of homemade ones and I love them! Such a beautiful little girl! I need one next time. lol. I think a newborn brings bottles. I had no idea just how many bottles we’d need or would go through. Especially, when he is eating every two hours. Happy Mother’s Day!
