17 Week Bumpdate
size of the baby: pomegranate – about 5.12 inches
total weight gain: 6-7 pounds
gender: unknown. We may find out today or we will at least find out a date we will know.
maternity clothes: I switched to pregnancy jeans this week and my Preggo Leggings, but normal tops.
movement: I have felt a little twitching this week.
sleep: I have slept a little better this week and am of course waking up a few times at night.
missing: feeling normal and not nauseous.
craving: french fries. mac n cheese. grilled cheese.
symptoms: nausea. migraines.
kevin is: normal. This week has gone by pretty fast and not much has changed.
looking forward to: find out the gender of this little babe.
best moments: having a sort of family day on Thursday. We went to Brooke’s 18 month check up together and got to spend the afternoon together relaxing.

I hope you find out the gender today! At my anatomy scan (even though I already knew the gender via genetic testing), I drank a little bit of soda and ate some sour gummy worms on my way to my appointment and when they started the ultrasound, Rory was head down and legs wide open to confirm again that we are having a girl. A lot of people recommend drinking soda or juice and eating candy beforehand. A friend of a guy at my work has had 5 ultrasounds just to find out the gender and apparently every single time, the baby is moving like crazy and they can’t get a clear shot. That would drive me insane trying that many times and still not knowing!
