30 Week Bumpdate

size of the baby: Zucchini – about 15.7+ inches, and over 3.5 pounds! He is also measuring about a week ahead still so that is great news!

total weight gain: about 17 pounds still, I have been holding steady for a month now.

gender: Little Man

clothes: I have been living in comfy clothes since I’m on bedrest. I did slightly dress up for our Doctor’s appointment.

movement: He is constantly on the move and shifting everywhere. He makes me jump a lot.

sleep: I have been waking up a lot. Plus, I have had a cough this week, so i’m not sleeping the best.

missing: feeling normal and being able to pick up Brooke. I hate not being able do that much around the house. She was really sick this past weekend when my parents were in town and it was pure torture to not be able to hold my baby.

craving: French fries and ice cream.

symptoms/update: I have had normal pregnancy symptoms this week, nothing out of the ordinary. Our whole family had quite a weekend. Kevin got a stomach bug, Brooke was sick with a deep cough/fever (which turned out to be a sinus infection), and I had a bad cough (turned into sinus infection). We also had a doctor appointment Monday that went really well. My doctor was really hopeful that we will make it to 34 weeks. We had a sonogram and got to see Baby KC. He was measuring over 3.5 pounds which was great and everything looked good! We also did a fetal fibronectin test Monday and it was negative so the chance of me delivering in 7-10 days went down to only 4% which was great news!!

kevin is: thankfully feeling better now! It was a rough few days around our house.

looking forward to: Kevin’s mom coming in town tonight for the weekend to help us with Brooke! We are so incredibly grateful for awesome parents being here for us!

best moments: finding out that Baby KC is over 3.5 lbs and doing good! Plus, finding out that Brooke just had a sinus infection and nothing too serious and Kevin getting over his stomach bug. It was a rough weekend, so we needed that good news!
