22 Days Left – Home Update

I can’t quite picture what the lights will look like in the chandler, so I am ready to see them. The crown molding is also up, so all the dining room needs is paint – i think…

They added our mantel in the living room, along with a fan. I am really excited to see our mantel finished as well.

Mhhhhmmm.. my kitchen. I love, love, love the granite. You can’t really tell because they are wrapped in blue to protect them while construction is still going on, but I pulled up the edge and love the color. I think I need to get a darker outlet cover for the island though, it sticks out way to much.

Here is our sink! We ordered our sink and facet special. I really really like the way it turned out; I am looking forward to being able to wash dishes easier. You can also kind of see the granite in this picture.

This is one of the brightest pictures I have taken of the spare bathroom. The tile looks great and they added the bar for hanging your towels and the shower curtain rod.

Our bathroom pretty much looks the same, they still need to grout and finish tiling the side of the tub.

Overall, we are very happy with progress. It is really starting to feel like home. Its amazing how much light fixtures do to spruce things up. I can’t wait to share more pics next week! I am hoping the backsplash will be finished in the kitchen next week.
