1 Day Left: Home Update

We are down to 1 day left until we close! We close tomorrow morning around 8:30am and plan on starting to move stuff in tomorrow night. Both of our parents are coming in town tomorrow too, so we should have a lot of fun. We have movers coming Friday morning to move all of the big furniture and stuff like that. I can’t believe the day is here; time flew by so fast!

These pictures are from earlier in the week but you can see that the appliances are in and the kitchen is pretty much good to go. I need to get a darker outlet cover for the island though, that is bugging me.
 

And our blinds are all in and look great. I love the white wood! My favorite are the blinds on the little windows, they just look so cute.
 

& we have a yard now! Its crazy how much bigger the space looks with grass. At this point, I am so thankful for the sprinkler system so that we can help the grass get a good start.

We also went around the other day and taped all the little spots that needed to be touched up in the house. I was a little tape shy at first (the builder had already taped this corner up) but then I got the hang of it and taped away!

Here is a picture of our mailbox and the workers putting in the grass out front. I am going to want to plant flowers in the front and put bricks around the edge of the flower bed. It is looking great though.
