8 More Days – Home Update

Time has really flown by, pretty much everything is done at the house and we close next Thursday. We had our inspector come on Monday and it went pretty good. Aside from minor details, it is good to go. Tomorrow, we have a walkthrough with our builder and superintendent to make sure everything is set for next week. But here are some updates from this week:

They leveled the yard and put our sprinkler system in; they also painted the garage door.

& they painted the front door! Not sure if I shared a picture yet of the light outside. I really like it as well.

They fixed our backsplash this week and it is perfect! They also took the blue stuff off of the counters (except the island), so you can really see the granite now.

And, we have carpet upstairs now, it is so soft. I took my shoes off and walked around. I was very happy that it came out so comfortable and that the color looked so good. Below, is a picture of our cabinets in our bathroom. I really like that they put outlets on each side of the counter.
