Hot Mess Day + Offer

Well, it’s Monday again and I’ll start by saying we had a pretty great weekend in Louisiana for our friends wedding. On Thursday night, Kevin and I headed to Katy to spend the night at his sisters house (this was pretty much a half way point for us to Louisiana). Friday morning, we woke up and went to Kevin’s grandparents house for a delicious breakfast complete with eggs, bacon, and biscuits. After visiting with his grandparents for a little bit, we hit the road again for Louisiana.

Friday night we had the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. After that, we all headed out to the casino and had lots of fun. Saturday was filled with wedding festivities and we had a great time with all our friends that we will never forget.

Let me say that I completely forgot how amazing it is to live in San Antonio, where we have very little humidity. One of my most used sayings to Kevin is “I look a hot mess, ” so when I saw this T-shirt online, I instantly wanted it in my life and it was perfect for our drive through Houston and Louisiana because it definitely was a “hot mess day.”
