Aside from clothes shopping, planning our little girl’s nursery has to be the best thing. After a few weeks of stalking pinterest like crazy, I think I have finally settled on pink, grey and gold for her room colors. I made this nursery inspiration board to help me organize all my thoughts. I went back and forth about the style I wanted from modern to classic to modern then back to classic. I really want her room to subtle, but pretty. I already found the prefect gold pillow for her room, now I am the lookout for a pretty light pink one.
We also ordered the crib and bedding stuff this weekend! I can’t wait for it to come in, so that we can start putting her room together. I have a few other design pieces in mind, but I really want to see the space with crib and dresser in the room first before I make any decisions on other pieces. I also know that I want a large monogram above her bed (because we all know I love a good monogram).
I am just so excited to start seeing her room come together and preparing for her to be here!

Designing Collins’ room was my favorite part! I started with a fabric I loved and went from there. I waited until I got the big pieces in the room before I added little details too. I love that “Hello sweet beautiful girl” print so much that I made my own and often find myself saying that to her in the mornings when she wakes up. Little girls are the best and you will have so much fun!
