38 Week Bumpdate

Hi Everyone! This bumpdate is OFFICIALLY the last bumpdate!! This bumpdate was written Tuesday night before all Wednesday events took place. I did have our little guy this past Wednesday the 15th at 38 weeks, so I wanted to finish out this last bumpdate. I will be posting an update soon about our little man and his birth story!

38 Week Bumpdate

size of the baby: Winter Melon– about 19.6+ inches, and probably close to 8+ pounds! Yikes, I’m getting nervous about how big he is going to be!!

total weight gain: about 25 pounds now and wanting to slow this weight train down!

gender: Little Man

clothes: Leggings and back to maternity jeans this week because I decided to go into work for a few days to get some normalcy back into our lives.

movement: He moves a ton. It has slowed down a little this week, I’m assuming he is running out of room. When he does move, its not super fun – it kind of hurts.

sleep: I have been sleeping HORRIBLE! I have been waking up at all hours of the night with contractions and cramping that keep me up for hours. I keep thinking “this is it, it might be go time”.. then nope, they will fade out after a few hours. I am really getting tired of it. I did probably get one good night sleep this week on Tuesday night.

missing: normal life! I feel like I am in such a weird waiting period. I feel like he could come any day but then he just doesn’t.

craving: ehh… limeades, queso…. pizza hut

symptoms/update: Well, everything has pretty much been the same, I am still highly uncomfortable and most nights are VERY hard.

kevin is: convinced that he is going to be born on the 22nd by induction..lol & he is super excited for him to be here (& i’m sure for me to get some relief and not be so moody).

looking forward to: going into actual labor! I am really tired of constant contractions and pressure. I am so ready!

best moments: um… hmmmmm…. lol I guess just soaking up the last days of Brooke as an only child. She is super fun and her personality keeps growing more and more if that is even possible.
