5 Fun Ways To Eat Waffles

Since becoming a mom, one thing I have loved is how much fun even the simplest of tasks is for a child. For instance, Brooke gets so excited about picking weeds in the yard, or jumping up and down. Most of all, she gets excited about food. I mean, who doesn’t though right?! Because this is one of her favorite things, I try to make sure meal time is fun for our whole family. I like to do this by thinking of creative ways to serve food and let me tell you, that is not always the easiest with a picky family of eaters. But, we all love waffles and here are 5 Fun Ways To Waffles:

Ice Cream Waffle Sandwich

Ice Cream Waffle Sandwich’s are an easy, fun snack or dessert idea. These are perfect for outdoor in the summer time. We like to enjoy these on our front porch in the evening. They are very simple to make. All you need is Eggo Buttermilk Waffles (or your favorite kind), Ice Cream, and any toppings you may want. Once you have your supplies, you simple toast your waffles, then put a scoop of ice cream in the middle and add any toppings you may want. Enjoy!

French Toast Waffles

These are so delicious and a great breakfast treat! Instead of using traditional bread to make French Toast, you use Eggo Buttermilk Waffles. You will need eggs, milk, cinnamon, powdered sugar and syrup (vanilla optional based on your french toast recipe). I like to toast my waffles first, then dip them in the french toast mixture and fry them in the pan. Our family adds powdered sugar and syrup at the end.

Waffle Fruit Kabob

This is a great way to serve breakfast in a different way. You can use a toothpick or longer kabob and simply alternate fruit and Eggo Buttermilk Waffles. We like to use grapes or strawberries when we make these.

Sweet Waffle Dippers

For these, I like to use Eggo Wafflers Brown Sugar Cinnamon Roll. I cover the edge in icing or chocolate depending on my mood and add sprinkles for fun and a little color. These are a fun snack option for the whole family!

Waffle Taco

We love eggs in our family as well so this waffle taco is a favorite. You make your eggs like normal, then use a waffle for your taco! This breakfast option is sure to win over your family or guests!
