Baby Kevin – 7 Months

This month is mostly a total blur. Our schedule is so busy and work has been a big part of that. On average, Kevin and I go to bed between 12-1am. This month, my mom had to have emergency surgery due to her appendix bursting, so we have been at my parents house and helping as much as we could with the two little ones. My friend Lauren came in town for a long weekend and it was just what I needed to take my mind off our struggles right now. We also closed on our lot to build our custom home this month so that was very exciting.

Baby Kevin is getting way easier! He hasn’t been crying as much and is all smiles most of the time. He started eating more solid foods and is having breakfast, lunch and dinner now. The extra food seems to really be making him more happy. He can sit up by himself for a few minutes then kinda falls forward. He has two teeth and loves playing with his toys. He started taking one nap in his crib this month and we are moving toward all crib naps. He is still in 3-6 month clothes but will soon be moving to 6-9 month clothes.

Brooke is loving him more and more if thats even possible. She gets really excited to play with him and I can’t wait to see her excitement when he starts crawling around. She is going to LOVE it! Brooke is also officially potty trained (thank the Lord)! It was such a long process for us, but i’m so glad its done.

My favorite baby product of the month is our Skip Hop 3 Stage Activity Center AGIAN! It is seriously that good!!! Baby Kevin LOVES it. We even take it with us to my parents house and uses it outside on the back deck.
