Baby Kevin 11 Months

Well, it’s official, every month just flies by and the next time I will be writing this, I will have a one year old. That is so crazy to think about! It feels like yesterday I was put on bed rest with this little man in my belly. This month was full of playing catch up with work and spending time with our family on the weekends. We went to a lot of Kevin’s basketball games (he’s coaching) and we celebrated my mom’s birthday. We also sadly had two funerals this month, but are blessed that our grandparents are now in heaven.

Baby Kevin still is NOT crawling!! We are working with him every day and we see a ton of progress. He is trying to pull up on things and really wants to go! He loves playing with toys, and when you talk to him. He likes interaction and loves music + basketball (really any ball that bounces). He can clap, wave, give high fives and play catch. He is in size 3 diapers and size 9-12 month clothes. He can say “DaDa” and loves to babble. He is getting more and more expressive which is so fun to watch.

Brooke still adores him and they LOVE playing together. They will play in Brooke’s room for so long together and love reading books. He basically wants to do everything she does. Brooke loves giving him kisses and hugs. We started saying prayers with him before bed and Brooke likes to hold his hand. It’s so adorable! I love how much they love each other. Although, this month, she did put “lotion” (aka Desitin) in his hair. It was terrible (lol) – it took over 40 minutes to wash it all out! #parentingjoys
